The American
Baseball
Foundation (ABF)
was founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 1994. Over the years ABF courses
have focused on the application of biomechanics to throwing and
pitching, giving volunteer coaches the means to improve
players' pitching mechanics and reduce injury.
The American
Baseball
Foundationoffers individual
and
group pitching analysis. Our program is offered to athletes of all
ages. Our staff has instructed individuals ranging
from professional pitchers to college prospects and minor
league athletes.
Our instructors have also traveled around the world to offer specific
instructional classes.
Using the advanced biomechanics
laboratory located in the ASMI offices we can provide a highly
detailed look into the mechanics of each person to pinpoint their
strengths and weaknesses.
The American Baseball Foundation offices are located in downtown
Birmingham, Alabama, on the grounds of St. Vincent Hospital.
